I knew it was going to happen eventually

Its a ding about the size of a quarter on the passenger side. The paint is not chipped off that I can see, its just a dent. I am going to get it fixed.
I called Ashburn Collision Center as I saw them in Kruts thread and they told me that they could do it but have an outside contractor who comes in and does it. Does anyone know who this might be??? I wouldn't mind calling him direct and setting it up that way. Otherwise I will go out to ACC sometime next week.

Sorry to hear about the ding.

Check out the Dent Wizard. If no paint damaged, they can fix it.
Also check with your dealer, they might have a contract with this company. You can drop your car off at your dealer, let thim fix it (and you use their loaner).

I'll die when I get my first door ding and any car within 10 feet of mine is going to get it!

 

At this point, Isabelle has paint chips, scars, dings, dents and scratches. I look at them the same way I look at my scars. They tell a story. I like stories.

 

I went nearly a year before I got my first door ding. What I seem to get now (no matter how careful I am) is "rub marks" where someone opens their door and must let it rest against my MINI when they get out of their car.

My boyfriend says my MINI attracts other cars. It's like a joke - no matter how far out I park in a parking lot, without fail when I exit the store someone is parked right next to me, and often over the line into my spot.

Any idea what to do about these paint rub/scratches?
