Hey. Really sorry about this.Sounds like you were run off by a Ferrari test driver, owners are generally very careful because the cars are so expensive. I have a friend at Ferrari, maybe we can find out who was driving. What car, an F430? No need for a tag, there are so few Ferraris that I am sure we could find out who it was.

I'm sure Krut will appreciate your post, but... we already know who he is. And we know where he lives.
I've always wanted to go down to Florida for baseball's Spring Training. Making a little detour wouldn't be such a bad idea.
If you are driving to FL watch out for the 70 car pile up and fog in FL... I wonder if any MINI's were in that pile up... maybe Krut can get a few spare parts for his R56
From what State Farm is saying it needs the following front bumper, bonnet, bumper support bar, headlights, radiator, condensor, A-Panel, and 1 wheel are being replaced.
Every other major component that was damaged is being repaired (rear bumper, for one).
I would imagine once the body shop tears down the car a little bit more they'll find additional (hopefully minor) stuff.
I'll scan in the estimate and let everyone scrutinize it at some point. They're saying it won't even be started on until 1/21. Didn't think parts took that long to get....
Usually doesn't Kurt. But your estimate sheet is quite long which means there's a lot of widgets and wadgets to be ordered. All it takes is just one of them to be unavailable off the shelf and bingo, bango, long lead time on parts.
Of course, the shop is giving you the pessimistic view as to not set your expectations too high.

They do on those poo new R56's! Who knew you would wreck it so soon!
LOL, JK!
Best wishes to a speedy recovery of course!
EDIT:
Oh, and if it's not too late, spend the difference for the Aero kit! I don't know if yours already had one, nor can I really tell since I don't pay attention to the second best gen Minis. Har har!
