LDG now called Behe Performance
LDG now called Behe Performance
Hey all, I just went to the LDG website and noticed they changed their name to BEHE Performance. That's not going to fit to well on the windows like Lucky Dog Garage did.
The name Lucky Dog Garage just didn't cut it in the hi tech arena we operate in. I got tired telling my customers "to not let the name fool you". We're in the middle of a major renovation to make better use of our space as well as just completing our new tuning and research lab. There'll be more pictures up on the website in a week. We're still very heavily involved with Minis and Mini performance just not on NAM.
Now I don't do NASCAR, I'm a F1 fan. But maybe Lucky Dog Garage carried to much of a 'last place' connotation for a performance shop due to the "Lucky Dog" rule in NASCAR... Might have sounded like a shop that preps cars that run a lap down? Not the case of course but a unfortunate similarity in names.

Other service work at Behe/LDG?
Hello all,
I'm out of warranty on my '02 MCS and want to make it more fun. I know (from what I've read on this forum) that the good folks up at Behe are the goto shop for pulleys/exhausts/tuning/suspensions/etc. and I plan to head out there soon to discuss my options/upgrades. Yay, fun.
My question is...what about other things/general service work? I have a persistent airbag light that needs diagnosing, I need the self-leveling mechanism for the headlights looked at (they appear to be pointing directly at the pavement in front of the car), and a couple of other things. Is Behe a good place to go, since I'm heading there anyway, or are these types of issues better handled at the dealership (where I'll likely have to pay anyway)?
Thanks for your advice!

I have no first hand experience with their maintenance works on MINI, but I'm pretty sure they (Behe) should be able to do any kind of work on your MINI.
Here please find the link to other shops in our area:
BEHE Performance: http://www.luckydoggarage.com/
Mach V: http://www.fastmini.net/
Funktion Auto Group: http://funktionauto.com/index.asp
Hope this help.

Under Construction
I'd like to thank Sherill for all her help with the new look, website, sign, et al and Matt for his technical help getting all this new computer stuff working correctly. Here's a few pics of the project underway. These are of our new dyno/tuning lab.
