Brainstorming ideas for DCMM swag
Stacy, was your request for new logo ideas or was it for new ideas of products on which to put the old logo?
Personally, I love baseball caps. My favorites are the ones with 'pre-curved' bills. I also picked up a freebie today from Kaiser Permanente that I was really impressed with. You know the shopping bags that the apple store puts your stuff in? Kinda like a drawstring bag with the string ends attached to the bottom corners of the bag so that you can wear it as a backpack of sorts? Well, KP put their logo and slogan on a ripstop nylon version with metal grommets and vinyl reinforcements on those bottom corners. I threw away the dead-tree materials they put inside and some kind of promo cd rom. Now I have a nice sack to put my sweaty gym clothes in without lugging my large gym bag home every night. I used an apple store bag for a while until it wore out (just plastic).
Black ( or white) nylon with a large DCMM logo would make a great stuff sack for lots of occasions...and I wouldn't use the DCMM one for sweaty clothes.

While we love our logo, and are looking for more things to put it on, I am also seeking other ideas as well. Remember the MOTD shirt we did last year? I am looking for more ideas like that as well. LINK to pictures. I want to vary some ideas for upcoming events.
Quick ideas:
For logo:
1. An embossed DC Skyline shot for the background
2. A MINI driving up the side of the Washington Monument
For Swag:
1. Handheld radio bag/holder with DCMM logo on it
2. Windshield sun screen with DCMM logo on it
3. DCMM logo wheel center caps
4. DCMM logo license plate frame

I think Jen's idea of an embroidered DCMM polo is a good one, as are the hats.
In regards to the vector art - please be advised that "vector art" is the high-res version of the logo and is closely controlled and distributed for the final production of logolized merchandise.
Peter, would the gif/jpg from the club site be adequate for what you want to do?

Great idea, Jay ! Cabrio owners can never have too many hats.
