Dropped off my Gianna at MoS

Hi everyone,
well, I posted a couple weeks ago about a weird stalling out thing with Gianna while driving through our lovely stop and go traffic.

basically, she just would shut down but would start up again. So after the second time, I called MoS for an appt.

First off, I totally do not like the lady on the phone giving appts, but who knows, maybe she was having a bad day.

I dropped off Gianna today and worked with Yvonne, I have to say she did a great job making sure I was taken care of.

Apparently there is a huge back log for MINI repairs. Even with my appt for tommorrow morning (which is why i dropped it early today), they dont think they'll get to squeeze in the diagnostic until Tuesday.. WOW

my next concern was the whole enterprise loaner thing..
well good news on that.. I guess my random shutdown in traffic qualifies for emergency or something..haha cause I got the MoS loaner MINI..

woohooo, at least I get to chill in another MINI

I was starting to wonder how i was going to park in the small garage spaces in georgtown hahaha..

So if you see a Pepper White 06 MSC loaner driving by.. its me, and i'll be handing out waves by the dozen, along with some smiles..

Now i just cross my fingers that all else goes well.. my poor Gianna, all alone at the shop with one heck of a problem.. good luck to the mechanics in diagnostic.. I'll get my money worth out of the warranty for this one! ahhah

BTW, first warranty issue and Gianna, in just one year is now at 26k miles...

surprised!

Catherine just called and said they finished working on Gianna already...
I was like "uh.. really?"

Apparently, there is a bulletin out on the problem.. (strange as it seems noone else has heard about it)

But they reprogrammed the ECU and added some miles to it to test it out...
So i'll pickup tonight or tomorrow morning.. (i think morning cause of the darn traffic)

anyways.. where can you read up on bulletins about our MINIs?

Thanks

Okay..
Just in case any of you have this problem in the future..

They said they referred to a bulletin 12-01-07
And reprogrammed DME per that bulletin.

I asked Catherine and even Robin about getting more info on that, but I guess I cant get access to the bulletins...

They did retest with some addtl milage, so hoping this doesnt come back..

Anyone know what the DME is?

Thanks
