I had the lucky fortune to open up for Alice in Chains over Labor Day weekend. If you have the chance to catch one of their Acoustic Hour shows, I must say it is nothing short of incredible.

I love Alice in Chains... the loss of Layne Staley was tragic... I just hope that the new singer can do them justice, as their sound is unique and hauntingly beautiful!

I just checked their website, seems they're not coming around here on this tour.

 

The new singer is William DuVall. I didn't know what to expect going into the show, but I was completely blown away.

 

Good to know... the upcoming new album should be worth looking forward to!
