Orly? Looks like I'm fine. Doesn't matter, I had a blast! SO HAH!
BTW, did you hear a B2 bomber crashed here on the island yesterday? The first one to ever be lost by the USAF.

I beat the other Mini that was there overall, but other than that pretty much came in second to last during the timed runs.
Not last because someone was racing an old modified pickup that kept spinning out.

Sorry Will, I couldn't resist taking this picture.....
I was cruising back from the big city today on the Likelike and saw this "sharp" looking, sleek black driving machine......... I had to snap a picture!
I thought that was why they bought the BATJEEP!
And speaking of things to come, how is the pregnancy going...when are we going to see BATGIRL? I hope Bea is well. Send her my hellos!

A Batvan! Booo!!! They don't even have any mods for cryin out loud! When I think Batvan, I think BATVAN!
Speaking of all things batty, I was on Amazon tonight, and look what I stumbled upon:

222 reviews for the Italian Job!!! Coincidence? Of course not.
Betty is doing good... She's due with #2 within 2 weeks now. We just had a little scare with #1. He has a favorite blanket and loves to run around with it. While in his safe room (the only carpeted/plush room in the house) he sometimes throws his blanket on his head and runs around like a madman screaming. Well, he often runs into things, but comes out fine. This time he ran into his dresser which has safe plastic handles. Until they turn out to be cheap plastic handles, half the handle breaks leaving the rest as a jagged edge sticking out, which gives the baby a nice cut on his forehead. Betty starts screaming, I stop the bleeding before she draws her next breath, and then she's crying about going to the hospital and needing stitches.
Women.
Boys hurt themselves. That's life. He didn't lose conciousness. He was fine until she started screaming and then he started screaming wondering "WTF!"... So we go and sit in the wonderful military emergency room for 2 hours, baby is fine and playing the whole time... When they finally get to us, they take 5 minutes to look at it put some 'glue' sealant stuff on it, and send us on our way. But she was happy we went to the hospital. Meh. I'm first aid and CPR qualified. I understand head injuries should be checked if severe, but other than a little blood I thought it was far from severe.
Anyhow.
Mini is doing well. Have a slow leak in a tire, so i ordered spare wheels just to be safe. Gonna get it checked out soon. Tires are warranteed through the Exchange (military store) and I've got spare wheels now so everything should be peachy keen.
The dry season is ending, so I should be putting a fresh coat of wax on the Batmini soon. Just ticked 36k miles, wheee... I slowed down quite a bit after putting 21k on after only 1 year, hehe....
Glad to see DCMM is still alive and well. You guys are still the only thing I miss about the DC Metro Area.

Glue- Dermabond- is the GREATEST invention. It was created by a Peddie I believe because he was tired of stitching little kids heads back together. That was the reason we have this great stuff.
It makes it so nice and easy for the little kids who like the Batboy like to run around with his head covered crashing into things! Either we glue them back together, or we put crash helmets on them
We use it for our Cesarean sections. This means- no bandage, no bleeding, incisions stay together, protected, and heal very nicely (and NO STAPLES!) I really like the stuff. Can't say enough good things about it.
BTW, there are commercial versions available too- ie. BandAid Liquid band aid. Not quite as strong, but works...

that is the best picture!
Glad the the lil tyke is ok...maybe the blood made B scream. I'd be freaked out too, watching my kid bleed ....
Men

Hope B's doing ok and that she has a safe and easy delivery. I hope you guys catch your breath before #3 comes along...2 babies under the age of 2 can wear a girl out..
How's the house holding up? Did you ever get rid of the ants? Did you paint the roof white yet?
Miss you guys a lot..

Ants were fought off easier than I thought. After about 3 months of spraying border protection regularly around the house, they stopped coming in. We also put down rubber sweeps on the bottom of the doors which now prevent most of the big roaches and lizards from coming in. When I say roaches, I mean ones at least 1.5" long. We don't have the little tiny ones here.
House is holding up well. I need to hire a contractor to do some work, but it's been a good investment thus far.
I decided not to paint the roof white after I water blasted the algae off. The difference in temperature was immediate and very noticeable. With such a difference, I find it hard to justify spending $500 in paint when it may not get much cooler, and would last only a couple years. Still thinking on it though.

big roaches I could deal with...just get a brick
The lizards would be another story as my one phobia is directed at anything reptilian...irk.
Glad you got the algae off the roof and it made a difference. Maybe you could put some kind of algae inhibitor up there...

Well we would have to move in together if we relocated to Guam. Big roaches are my phobia, but I have no problem with snakes, lizards, mice, rats and spiders.......
Bats are fine. They eat bugs -- good on my list. I wish I had a yard big enough to attract them and I would put up a bat house
When I was in Mexico I had several geckos in the apartment all the time. Once you get used to how loud they are....nice guys to have around.

Hey all.
Baby Nara is still not here yet. She's 5 days overdue... But Betty has a c-section scheduled for tomorrow AM.
Hope everyone is having tons of fun at the Dragon. And for all of you whom didn't get to go, don't feel bad because I wanted to go too! Instead of spending money flying myself to MOTD, I had to spend that same money to fly in family to help with the new baby.
Everything else is good, hope you all are well too.
