Boy, how did I KNOW that you were going to say something like there is another baby on the way! Congrats! I hope B's pregnancy is going well. When is she due?
Do I hear Clubman in the future?! You are going to have your hands full with all those baby bats
Glad that things are doing ok there. We miss you!

Holy crap another bat in the belfrey (er on the way). I'm excited for you guys! Sorry to hear the Mustang is gone that would've been a fun car for you to zoom around in - it's a shame you couldn't keep it - but I'm glad you decided to keep the BatMINI.

Coopy sends his greetings!

I wouldn't really call keeping the Mini a decision... more like a 'given'.

Yeah, the cost of living on Guam is crazy, considering how little the locals earn. It's the tourist industry that drives up the prices, IMO.
I suppose that can be true... But the Guam tourism industry isn't really that big. It's limited mostly to Tumon and the few surrounding villages. Aside from the scenic spots, you don't usually find tourists elsewhere. I understand tourism makes a lobster dinner at Lonestar start at $50, when I've got em in the states for $25 (beause Lonestar is near Tumon). But I don't understand why an Xbox game is 15% more. Meh.

We just found out, so she doesn't know yet. She'll be going to the hospital for her initial screening and prenatals this week. She'll probably be due around April/May. And a Clubman? Probably not. The joint Mini dealer here took down their Mini sign off their dealership. I've not gone in since I got here, but I'm a little concerned about what that may mean for me. Hopefully it just means they don't sell Minis anymore, but they'll still service them. Oh, and the Jeep will be our clubman. It's a four door, the same but not the same color as this:

This color rocks!!! But that's ok if you didn't get it. What's the color of your's?

I forgot they had a military auto sales on base. Is it still near the McDonald's? Well, I'm seriously toying with bringing mini-mini since I know I can fix it. It's been down about 4 times now, and the lil' guy still runs like a champ! It's almost like a completely different car from the one I bought. I'll post pics once I get new batteries in the digital. Maybe even scan an old photo of me on the island. I think there's actually a shot of me with the same background behind me like your one 3rd pic!

And the easiest way to tell what time it is where Will & B are is to add (+) 2-3 hrs to our time, and then just flip the time of day (i.e. if it's 0120 a.m. here like it is now, add 2 or 3 to the time, making it 0320, flip the time of day, which will make it 1530 or 3:30 pm for you civilian types) - and of course ahead. We lucked out right now and we're still on the same day, but on the average, they are 1 day ahead.

We got the 'Red Rock' color. Looks like this one, but without the hard top and cool wheels.

Yes. And there's a small office in front of the nex, Navy Hospital, and at the Anderson BX.

Cats got out of Quarantine October 30th. Cost to get them out, $2,800. And that is not counting the $750 the other kennel took for us for our 'non refundable reservation' at their outdoor facility. Meh.

Well well little miss thing... I'll do that. Just as soon as I get back from Japan. Yeah, I'm not in Guam, I'm in Japan. Been here going on my third week now. But we're leaving next week back for home.

I'm not going to be able to make it to MOTD08 unfortunately... B is due to deliver in April and a round the world flight, costs, and time off all clash with the new baby... So I suppose that's my fault for not planning properly, but without my Mini there, there isn't much reason for me to stretch myself. Plus B was already mad she wouldn't be able to go... So, maybe MOTD09. If there's still a popo-free MOTD by then.

Everything else is well. B says Baby Will loves the cats, and chases them around the house in his walker. The cats aren't so fond of him... But if I just got out of prison, I wouldn't want to deal with annoying people grabbing on me either. That's pretty much it for now. Happy Halloween DCMM!

Nice to see those pics... Baby will is tooooooooooo CUTE !!

Enjoy your tour over there. Those two years go by so quickly and that world is so different than anything else I've ever experienced that now it all seems like a dream to me.

Will, very cute pics!! I want to say Samantha is the same size (that would be scary since she is 2 months younger than him). How much does he weigh now?

Congrats too on the new little one!!

Three to four year tour.

17 lbs at 6 months, and he is now 7.5 months... So 20-ish? At 5 months he lost his baby fat (the real chunky wrinkly stuff) and stayed about the same weight for 2 months. So he's been 17-20 for a while (a relative while that is.. . )

That's because Daddy wasn't home.

Has it always been a 3-4 year tour for the Navy ? Or has the military finally figured out that Guam, although geographically remote, is not really a "remote" tour ?

1-2 un-accompanied by family, 3-4 if you bring family.

Loving Guam.
Started a blog (link in my sig, below)
Found out we're having a baby girl, due in April. Her name will be Naralieu (insert mexican/latina middle name) Mapp.
My Mini is dirty and I'm hating myself for it. But hopefully will be fixed soon.

well good for you...my car's still dirty and will likely stay that way for a while. Does your clean car make you feel better? Good.
