See you in Ft. Myers.

Nice write up in the new GRM on the MINI set up. I found about the same settings after about 2 1/2 seasons screwing with it. I then added camber plates and started over. Funny thing is, I ended up back to the same settings again. Go figure. My MINI just likes them, I guess.
Good Luck this season. I'll see you if you come through Peru. I'm one of the slower STX guys, but having fun anyway.

As the diameter of the tire changes what happens?
Say I have two wheels-
One for street use 17x7 with 215/45-17 outer tire diameter 24.6"
and one for autocross
15x7" rim 205/50-15 tire with outer tire diameter 22.9"
If I align with 15" wheel on then that is fine for autocross but what happens to the alignment when I change to street tires?
Or what if I align with the 17" wheels on then go to autocross and run the 15" wheels? What happens to alignment in the reverse?
???????????????
Anyone have trouble with 1/8" toe out instead of 1/16" out?

oh, that's just a math porblem, I can usually do those
if you set the toe to 1/16" out with the 15" wheels on, then the toe out with the 17" wheels on would be about 1/15" out, just ever so slightly larger (less than 1/64" different). you can do this yourself for various wheel outer diameters
new toe =~ old toe (new wheel diameter / old wheel diameter)
=~ 1/16 * (24.6 / 22.9) in this specific case.
this is simplified for small angles, but who wants more than 5 degrees of toe?
basically, if your wheel diameters change by 5%, your toes settings will change by 5%.
