Just installed my new 9mm plug wires, Denso Iridium plugs, and K&N drop-in air filter. A quick test drive showed a noticeable but small gain, especially at the low end.
Of course, any new plugs and air filter on any car with 20k on it should show some improvement, but it's nice to know that my MINI is performing well for race day this Sunday.
Thanks to Randy at http://www.webbmotorsports.com and the friendly folks at http://www.soloracer.com for making sure that I had everything I needed delivered on time for the first Auto-X of the season here in Alabama.
Now I want an exhaust to complete the whole package. . . . . .
Fortunately, racing in G-stock will prevent me from going as mod-crazy as I did with my 2001 1.8t GTI
