Laser Blue owners

I placed an order for a LB/W MCS last April 3 and "anxiously" awaiting for her birth. I saw "other color" groups in this forum BUT none yet on the Laser Blue.

One thing I am asking myself if the "laser blue" color is the same blue on BMW logo???

Just the Two of Us?

It looks like it's just you and me for now. I ordered my La/W on or around the same time you ordered yours. It wasn't an easy decision, but that's what I'm sticking with . Are you doing the white or silver wheels? I went with white, another tough decision.

Phil

The pictures of the S driving around in the dealers Mini brochure is pretty accurate .Mine looks to dark sometimes and to light sometimes it changes alot depending on the light.I haven't seen any pictures in the forum that look right so check out the brochure. If your looking for something subtle this color isn't for you.

Roughly like the logo, but in person it's more interesting because it's metallic, so the color is complex.

You won't be disappointed - it's an awesome color.

Of course, I'm totally biased

Any regrets having gone with this color?

My laser blue / white MCS is dead sexy. My wheels are silver crown spokes. I am going to have my roof painted pure silver with laser blue Viper stripes down the center of the roof and pure silver Viper stripes on the boot and bonnet though.

Hi Phil, my wheels are silver. I love the white wheels too but my location (Chicago) will be difficult to keep it clean. Which city are you from?

My MA said that my "baby" are scheduled to arrive on the last week of May
but I guess it may or may not happen.

I picked up my Laser Blue/White MCS on Monday and have been estatic ever since.

I thought Lightning blue would be the color until visiting the dealer. The MINI web site had the Laser Blue lighter than it is in reality. I went with Laser Blue with absolutely no regrets.

The Lightning blue would have worked well with a black roof, but there is a traditionalist in me that requires a white roof/bonnet stripes.

(my 03 MCS was BRG/W/stripes.-A REAL nice car too)

07 MCS Laser B/W, Prem/Sport/Cold Weather

EJKD: I live in the Northern Virginia / DC metro area. Keeping those white wheels clean was the only thing about ordering them that made me think twice. But I thinks I'll take me chances and hope for the best.

I know the end of May feels like a long way off but it could be worse. My car probably won't arrive until sometime in early to mid July. That's because I've become addicted to satellite radio and the Mini's audio package won't be available until June 7. I could put in an aftermarket unit but I have one of those in my Jetta and I just don't like the way it sticks out like a sore thumb.... So I wait

Sweeper: I also went to the dealer's lot expecting to go for Lightning Blue. While I like that color a lot, the Laser Blue gave me an ear to ear grin that I couldn't shake. And yes, the Configurator Laser Blue is not as dark or desirable as the real thing.

I need to get some pics of my baby Becker.

When I bought my first MINI, I wanted an electric blue vert...but alas, that was not an option. So I went with Hyper blue.
I was going to order a sidewalk till I went on the MINI website to build it and saw the laser blue! I just about died.

Becker was on order before there were even color chips available at the dealers. The color is better than I expected and I am in love all over again!

They look like 17" enkei RP-F1's. I only say 17" because the RPF1's always seem to look a size smaller than they really are.

I have an EB MCS, and I was really disappointed when they discontinued the color. Laser blue sure is pretty though!! I'm glad to hear y'all fell instantly in love with the color too.

I originally wanted a white roof with no racing stripes, but I either had to wait six months for a custom order, or take Lucy, with her black top and racing stripes. No regrets! It's a sharp color combination.
