Winter wheel and tire ?'s

2016 R60 S-All4. Its getting to be about that time here in CO. Looking to drop into a new set of winter wheels and tires. Located in central CO (front range Denver area) so I need a tire that is great in snow. Any suggestions? Looks like the Sotto Zero series II are basically my only option?
Also, tirerack.com and discounttiredirect.com aside, do you guys recommend any other outlets for winter tire/wheel packages?
Thanks

i bought mini oem 16x6.5 et46 euro alloys from ecstuning.com (they also sell 16x6.5 et46 mini oem steelies but they do not accept tpms sensors ... but they are about 1/2 the price of the alloy wheels)

i run dunlop grandtrek sj6 winter studless ice and snow all terrain tires in size 205/70R16

the tires are 1.4 inches taller than the stock tires netting almost 3/4 inch additional ground clearance

the tires do not rub at all under any condition

^^ that's a good set up and saves you from pot hole damage on the high sidewalls. But your not as heavy as the steelies.

Both of those sites are solid. I would avoid a run-flat snow tire (sotto zero). I'm in steamboat, and will be getting either the X-Ice's or Blizzaks. They are both well done tires, and are proven over the years of their abilities. I won't be studding because I have a land cruiser that can handle super deep powder days, but I would suggest reading the test results on TireRack about the snow tires and go from there. I plan to us my stock wheels as winter wheels and buy something different in the spring. TireRack tires come with their own Road Hazard and there is a warehouse in Denver you can pick them up without paying stupid shipping cost, making it a better choice over shipping from DTC. Hope that helps!

Currently looking for winter tires for my 2012 CM. Trying to find the maximum height a stock r60 can handle. Your 27.3" tires seem to be the tallest I've seen so far.
Have you had any rubbing since this post?
