No love for the 17" tunnel spokes?

No love for the 17" tunnel spokes?
Very few seem to opt for the 17" tunnel spokes. I wonder why?
I placed my CM order last week, and I didn't realize until today that the MA had selected the anthracyte tunnel spokes instead of the split spokes -- my fault for not being clear and not catching it before now.
At first I was freaked out, but the more I thought about it, the more I like the look of the tunnels. I've ordered Royal Grey with white top, and think this combo will look great.
Who else likes the tunnel spokes?

I absolutely love them, I would have opted for them if I saw them in person before I ordered. On the Mini web site they looked more gray than flat black and scared me off, kind of regretted it since, although I love my black 17" 5 star spokes, as well.
The only wheel I'm not a fan of is the 18" double spokes, I hate wheels with exposed nuts to make them look two piece, they look so tacky. Another reason I did not opt for the sport package. Also wouldn't have gone with any of the silver options, car looks so good with black or anthracite wheels.

i actually like those as well--if i were interested in a countryman, those would be my wheels of choice. I want to replace the rims (basic boring 15" stocks) on my cooper if I buy it out at the end of the lease, and I think the anthracite tunnel spokes will look nice with my white silver.

Count me in as a fan as well. If I could go back I wouldn't order the sport pkg, but get the xenons a la carte and these tunnel spokes.

hoppes-no9, same thing happened with me, honest mistake and I didn't catch it as well
untill the unveiling. They grow on you over time. Did make the switch to the 19" Nuespeed wheels/summer tires soon as they were available. Still deciding if I'll go back to the 17" all season run flats or move up to 18" with full snows for the Northeast!
Either way, doubt I'll return to the run flats.

went for em
I choose the tunnel spokes on my Surf Blue All4 build 
At first I was going with the all black, but didn't see too many with the tunnels, and I thought they looked pretty good on the CGI Build Preview on Mini's Site, so I went for it.
Awaiting transport at the moment, looks like I may have it in the 6-8 week time frame from when I placed the order.

I don't see the swastika thing, but the iron cross thing is the reason I ruled them out from the get go. They look cool, but they do sort of remind me of the iron cross, and it kills my enjoyment of them.

I certainly will too -- mine's "awaiting transport" right now, hopefully a month more and I'll have it.

Funny that i found this thread cause i also made the mistake of having the MA get the car and i told him i wanted anthracite and until i got home and really looked over the specs i was like s$%T!! but i saw a white CM with them and i think this combo will work out alright, once i get the car i will be sure to post some pics, if anyone else has a white CM with em please post, im dying to see more photos before i get my car. the wait is killer
