Brand(s) of standard all-weather 17 inch tires

Have folks noticed what brand or brands are being used on the 17 inch all season tires?

Typically a vendor uses more than one vendor, don't they? What have folks seen, either on the lot or on the cars they've taken delivery of?

Thanks!

Brand

Brand and model may be more important. Some of the all seasons are really just rain tires and suck in snow or ice.

The 17's All Seasons I saw at my dealer were Bridgestone Dueler's.

Duelers

Those tires are crap in cold, ice or snow. I wish they would put real all season tires on these things and not just a Summer Rain tire. MINI is really dropping the ball on this one. With the All4 option they should really consider the tires they are putting on them.

Just picked up my car, and all of the recent deliveries seemed to have 17" all-season Pirellis (including mine). Odd, because I did not think Pirelli even made an all-season runflat in our size (or at all, for that matter), but it says all season right there on the sidewall. I think its the Cinturato (don't recall P7 vs P5)... any good? anyone else have these? I can't exactly remember the test drive, but I really enjoyed the ride home so... so far so good.

If you look on Tirerack for the OEM 17" tire size both the Dueler and the Pirelli Cinturato are not listed as all seasons. Only the Continentals are. Weird.

apparently there is a Cinturato P7 and a Cinturato P7 All-Season, and they are actually different tires. seems the All-Season isn't even on tirerack...

Interesting. Our CM came with Cinturato P7's but in the 18" size they don't have all seasons.

Mine has 17" wheels and came with the all-season Pirelli Cinturato P7's too...

I think it would be good if folks chimed in with their experience with different tires over time. Might be good for folks that would eventually look to swap, since if you stick with runflats in the stock size I think the OEM tires are pretty much the only ones available.

So far the Cinturato P7 All-Seasons are pretty good by me. It's been less than a thousand miles so I can't comment on wear, but they did fine in a bad rain storm last week, they do pretty well on NYC potholes, and they are not too noisy. I'm impressed so far...

Yea I got the Conti's, same as were on my R56. Very surprised how well they ride on the CM, much, much better than the MCS. Won't be getting rid of them nearly as early as I thought (although it's still early).

So can anyone confirm (apart from whether or not they suck) if the Bridgestone Duelers really are all-season tires? When I ordered my CM, I specified all-season tires (remember having discussion with my MA about Sport Package and all-season tires and that's why I decided against Sport package). I just noticed the tire tread pattern and it struck me as more of a summer tire pattern than an all-season pattern...

Just subscribing...I just ordered my CM with all seasons, and the auto broker couldn't find which tires came with that option.

Currently the Tire Rack shows only two OE all-season runflats for the CM with 17" wheels and all-season option:
Continental Contipro Contact SSR
Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season RFT

It also lists two OE summer tires, which are the other 17" option for the CM:
Pirelli Cinturato P7 RFT
Bridgestone Dueler H/P Sport RFT
