SCCA Auto X events Nebraska 2008

Had an amazing time today in Lincoln - great Track, about 3/4 of a mile with lots of fun curves, and a couple of tricky slalom areas. The weather was even great after that short thundershower in the early morning. Unfortunately, there were not many Mini's though (just 2 cars w/3 drivers).
The next Nebraska event is a non-SCCA event at Motorsport Park Hastings on the 28th and 29th of June. Its a two day event, with Open Track/Solo Warm up on Saturday, and Solo on Sunday from 9am to 4pm. Cost is $125 for Saturday and $25 for Sunday (including meals). Zyamfier may have more information on this than I do. Pre-registration is required. Here's the info.
After that, we get back into the SCCA events, with an event on 7/13 at the Mid-America Motorplex, and then a two day event at Lincoln Southeast on 7/19 and 7/20. The 19th is a Solo Training course. If you have never done Solo and are interested, or you want to improve your Solo driving skills, its only $40 for the training day.
It would be a great thing - and entirely possible in my mind - if we could have 10+ Mini's at these events - especially the ones in the Omaha-Lincoln area.
By the way, Sherri made some great BBQ.

Just a reminder, this weekend (7/13) is MAM Mile Solo event. Sunday.
Registration is 9am-10:30
Novice Walk: 10:30
Driver's Meeting: 10:45
First Car off: 11:00
This event is a little different from the usual Solo events in the Omaha area as this event actually takes place on the MAM Road Track. For more information go to the NRSCCA web site. I look forward to seeing lots of Minis there.
