Hi,

I have got a Screamin Deamon Ignition Coil Pack with Magnecor Plug Wires, Red 8.5mm.
I was planning to get a set of Denso Iridium Spark Plugs (IK20). But MTH said they dont recommed me to instal these plugs. They said its very dangerous if I use it on my MINI. It will damage my car (about getting holes in the pistons because of the higher combustion heat). They said the Denso is designed for the US market and not for the European (because difference in fual quality. I use RON98/100 fuel).

Now I want to install the Screamin Deamon Ignition Coil Pack with Magnecor Plug Wires with the stock plugs.

My question: Is this possible without any risk for my MINI?

 

I have screamin demon coil and Denso plugs, no problem.
I also used the coil with OEM plugs, no problem
I did not notice any real difference in performance either way
