I want to port my head, but don't know where the thin spots are, so I'd like to see some successful port work photos. I think everyone could benefit from seeing ported versus stock. -Jeffy.

I can say... be VERY careful in the exhaust ports. The pockets behind the exhaust valves are small, and it's very easy to work out too much material and cut into the water jacket...

I'm extremely happy with my head, yup.

Thanks for the photos, that's some slick work on that head. Now I just need to get some new ink cartridges for my printer so I can print the pics. Do you know if we can mill our heads down for a small compression increase? I always use premium gas anyway, so if a compression increase is possible, then we can gain power in all rpm ranges. Some fast street motorcycles have ratios as high as 12/1, and still run on pump gas. -Jeffy.
