Anyone have info on this intake yet? Is it even available?

I'm guessing its available since they've got a price for it on the monster mini website. I haven't heard much about it other than the fact that the aluminum piping for the intake is relatively conductive so it will get a fair bit of heat from the engine compartment. I don't see how that is an issue with the heatshield however.

I had ordered the intake before Monster completed their first run and waited patiently for them to be assembled, powder coated, and shipped. I installed it last October. After 6 months, I am still completely satisfied with it.

I selected the intake because 1.) it used a K&N, 2.) it offered the largest K&N that would fit (more area=less restriction), and 3.) the "air ramp" that helps direct air from the cool air intlet to the filter. I was initially concerned with heat soak, but decided that there is no avoiding it with the current products in the tight engine compartment. I was surprised that if you pop the hood right after a hard drive, everything is still cool to the touch.

I noticed a slight increase in preformance, while the sound became a nice thoaty tone. It's definately deeper than other intakes I've heard. The engine growl is addicting--especially after 4k.

6f7 - are you running any other mods? I currently have the Rogue exhaust...and theidea of the intake making the enigne throatier is part of what I'm after. I have realistic expectations that my MC is not going to be a 150HP little monster...
