Hey everyone! Been a long time lurker to help weed out other issues but I don’t even know where to begin with this one.

Bought an 03 R50 CVT with a Cooper S 6spd swap. As far as I’m aware, the person who did the swap did not wire in the reverse light to the new wire loom.

Does anyone know where I can find the reverse light signal wire to hood it back up? As far as I know my 6 speed is the updated 05+ version.

The switch for the reverse light is on the transmission in the drivers wheel well. There is a 2 prong connection coming off it that runs into the octopus mess under the airbox (if i recall correctly). The R50 and R53 share the same connection so the wiring has to be there unless it was chopped off previously.
