MCS exhaust on an MC?

Anybody know if a stock MCS exhaust will bolt up under a MC as far as mounting points and hangers and such?

The reason I ask is that my rear bumper got hit and needs to be replaced and the body shop I'm going to already has a MCS rear bumper that is the right color that they'll sell me for $100, which is a hell of a lot cheaper than paying $175 for one at the dealer and then paying for prep and paint.

I'm pretty sure it won't fit because of the spare tire well in the MC. MCS' don't have a spare and the exhaust runs right through the are where that well would be.

It's possible, but I do believe it requires removing the spare and modding the box for it to fit the MCS exhaust. Perhaps an aftermarket solution for exhaust might fit the bill???

I have an MCS exhaust

It came off of my car at 11K and is in very good condition. I put on a Borla system

Is the spare on one side or in the middle? Assuming it's on the side, I'd put on the mcs bumper & have a straight-shot exhaust fabricated using the front section of your factory system & a nice custom tip. Ought to be relatively cheap to do.

I don't think anything would be cheaper than the $75 difference in the two bumpers

Thanks for the input guys. I'm really thinking about having the custom straight piping done since my spare is off the car.

And lot15, the $75 difference is for the bumpers, but the cheaper one just needs to be installed whereas the unpainted one would cost $200 more to prep and paint, so the difference is more than it seems. Anyway, it turns out after speaking with them again that the shop isn't sure if its flat or metallic black so the whole thing may be a moot point.
