Looks great! Definitely get some coilovers on there, and a nice dark tint, you'll be set! Nice red calipers

I personally really like the SB. It wakes the car up a bit, feels punchier around town with the increased throttle response, and rev matching downshifts is much easier and more precise.

Lowered for sure. In my opinion ALL MINIS need to be lowered at least a little bit. I thought about coil overs but since decided just a set of TSW springs.

Not that DannyHavock is wrong. I just came to the conclusion that coilovers are a little overkill for me.

Fair enough, they're probably overkill for me too... but better too far than not far enough! Also the R50 already had 45,000KM on the stock shocks when I decided to make a change, so that was a factor as well.

Adjustability is nice if you want to run a different profile winter tire, etc, too.

Not wanting to hijack the thread, but I had the same idea but I'm already in for about $4200 in aftermarket parts alone (not labor) and still have about $4k left not counting coil overs (springs instead). It will come back to haunt me when the OEM shocks die and I replace with Koni Yellows. We don't have winters here in Savannah anyway. Hell, damn squirrels haven't really hibernated for years!

Okay, back to Ninopr and his Pure Silver MC...

Take it away, Ninopr!!!

Yes thats another thing mine still with stock shocks but they still have life in them lol just will have to wait till they go bad and go with some konigs. but that would be a future present for the cooper.
