ECU Tuning
I have been searching on the forums for ECU tuning for Non S Coopers. I am not having good luck in my search. I have come across a couple companies but haven't seen any reviews or definitive answer on who is a leading company.
Way Motor Works

MTH

RMW (not sure if they do Non S)
http://www.revolutionmotorworks.com/
Powerchip
http://www.powerchipgroup.com/intera...sp?pid=Min0000
Upsolute
http://www.upsolute.com/index.php?op...382f6e2c000ffe
I am not sure if Powerchip and Upsolute are for the States Mini Cooper or not. If anyone knows any other companies or have any opinions on these ones, please share.

Waymotorworks and rmw both do custom tunes, and can do a "canned" genaric"tune, MTH does just canned tunes....
Powerchip is pretty $$$ for a canned tune going by their website pricing.....and promises on a canned tunes are pretty exaggerated imo.....
Don't know about the last one...
add MYNES to the list of custom tunes...
Imo the choice of tuneris not nearly as important as how you get it....
Tune party, remote tool, etc....local guy...so if you need an adjustment, it can be done.
Consider a custom tune to be kinda a final thing in modding a car....
Most will tell you unless you have done some headwork, maybe a cam, etc, tuning a just-a cooper might not get much hp for the buck...drivability improvements perhaps, but spending $ 400 on a tune to get a couple of hp is a step few cooper owners have done...but folks do do it.
