Now what do I do?

Hello Everyone,

I have an 06 cooper (pepper). I placed some 18" rims on pepper added a Magnaflow Exhaust, K&N intake, stock iPod connection and a nice tint. What do you guys suggest for my next eventual mod? I'll place some pics up later. I'm new here but have been forum stalking for a while. Good stuff on the forums btw.

Edit: nobody has any fun projects that they did on their mini?

Now we're cooking. I didn't even consider suspension yet. I take it, a sway bar setup is a simple Saturday afternoon project? I was also looking into your motor mount setups. I have noticed a small amount of oil from my oem mount just recently. I think this will have to be next unfortunately.

You mean a strut brace? I've considered it but thought against it. A couple friends said the results were pretty negligible, even under a preload. What brace are you using?

Correct Strut Brace, my mind was still on Way's comment of the sway bar.

It's a Racing Dynamic carbon fiber brace.

My suggestion is figure out what you want the car to do right now. Handle better? More speed?
Call Way and tell him what you have and what you would like and he'll give you suggestions (and he's not pushy) on how to accomplish whatever it is you want out of your car.
He has helped me with just about my whole setup. I'm waiting for some rear camber links from him so I can do my lowering and install my new intercooler.
Oh, upgrade brake rotors and pads is another good upgrade.

Have fun with it.

Well you see that's the thing. Speed-wise, I think i'm done. The wife and I got an extended warranty for the car, and we don't want to chip the ecu because of it. I just want the cooper to perform as best and as reliable as possible. I like the idea of improving my current rear sway bar. But, it definitely looks like I have swap out the old motor mounts. I like the brake upgrade idea. My rotors are looking long in the tooth. thanks for the help guys.

Check out Ways Zimmerman rotors (either smooth or cross drilled) and his EBC redstuff brake pads. Excellent combo and perfect for upgrade without braking the bank.
H-sport 19mm rear sway bar is also an excellent choice.
