Yes, jivanivan, the plastic sheathing would work great to protect those wires for the long-term.

Any guess as to how much hp the venom kit gives a regular cooper?

See, I knew he was going to clean up that install.

As far as N20 in a CVT..... Why Not? I'm sure I read somewhere that it is not a doubt.

And us S owners were worried about the pulley voiding the warranty.
Have fun with it. I'm sure the nitrous is a blast (pun intended).

Ivan I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. One question you said that the purple is harmful to the engine from talking to Peter he said that any bigger than the purple would need engine upgrades. Is this for "S" only?

Minihune Thanks alot for the link help. Also thanks for all the helpful advice you give on all the threads.

Also not to take away from Ivan's thread but I finally got pictures posted of the install Peter did on my car

I would caution anyone on putting nitrous in the CVT as the CVT tranny was not designed to take any additional power (primarily torque). The manufacturer of the CVT warns everyone not to mod their CVT MINIs, and MINI won't offer the JCW for the CVT MC. I think a few mods for small hp and torque gains hopefully won't be a problem, such as an intake, exhaust, and chip. That's just my opinion. Additionally, reducing weight of the car is a great way to increase performance, such as light wheels and tires, and anywhere else you can and are willing and able to do.

M7 Nitrous System

I too am very curious if the nitrous system is compatable with the CVT trans. There has got to be a weak link to this system. Any input about this?
