What is this stroker/turbo set up you speak of? Engine swap or something you can "bolt on" to the MC engine you already have?

It's basically a totally rebuilt (read:modded) factory motor. It's been punched and stroked from a 1.6 to a 2.0 and have a custom turbo setup (read:not buyable from catalog or website) added on. Here's a writeup from the R53 guys:

That motor still uses the Eaton M45 while UK's setup will utilize a turbo. Speaking of which, what were you going to use as a turbo, UK, and what kind of boost numbers? GT42R.....

Looks like it starts around $10k at the moment...
I'm not messing with my engine either...my plan is to try and make it last about 100,000 miles more...then swap out the engine for the stroker (hopefully it is available several years down the line...I'll do the 6 spd swap when my tranny breaks.

Here's a plot I made up a while ago (from the who has blown a tranny thread):

It goes by speed, not engine speed, but there is clearly a point where 4th is favorable to 3rd (at ~105 mph, whatever that works out to be in rpm's). For reference, that plot assumes you're running a tire with 12" rolling radius.
