I just reached the 100,000 mile mark and no major problems. Looking forward to many more miles.

2003 Cooper with about 115,000 at the moment. Been a great car except for the crappy Midlands tranny. I am already on my third tranny, third clutch (Spec Stage 1 clutch now) and second fly wheel. What are some of the major problems you guys have had with your Coopers?

I'm at 97,000 and on my second midlands...with my fingers crossed, on my third clutch, my 4th clutch master cylinder and my 3rd slave cylinder...oh and my second clutch fork...other than those problems, all else is well except for several expensive tickets keeping me from driving my mini!

I'm at 130,000 (and change). On my second clutch, still on stock transmission.
Pretty good for a fully modded non S.

Take care, and keep motorin'.
Leo.

i wonder how many in the 100k club that haven't posted have a CVT? i'm at 37k and just purchased an extended warranty to cover it. but, hoping it holds on for the life of the MINI.

I hit 100K a few weeks ago. I'm at 104K now and the only thing I have done is replaced a right front wheel bearing. Stock tranny, clutch, and still have half the pads left on the original brake pads.

So far my only problems I have had have been with the window sensors and the A/C, both fixed under warranty of course

Lots and lots of highway miles. I have about a 100 mile round trip to work and I travel with work quite a bit. I put 45-50K miles per year on my car. I should have 300K when I get it paid off!

I just turned 90k two nights ago. I estimate I'll be at 100k by the time spring rolls around again. This is on an '03 R50, basic mods. Only had the clutch go out at 60k, the clutch slave at around 83k and about six sets of pads....

I can't wait to get to the 100k mark!!!
