Cooper (non S) Modifications specific to the MINI Cooper (R50).

Has anyone checked out one of those $8.50 chips on Ebay?

You gotta love people who just surf eBay to get mods for their cars for cheap. Especially people who have no idea whats going on with anything! Its kinda sad that someone as dense as this kid is on the road. We've all been scammed, but this kid got scammed twice, the turbonator? haha Wow! I mean if this kid really knows what hes doing, why doesn't he know what wires go to what? Maybe he shouldn't be messing with any wiring!!!

This has to be a troll thread - a joke in poor taste.

No-one could be that dense and also be unwilling to read what everyone is telling him.

Yes, sadly enough, someone could be. I swear I've met him or some member of his family more than once on my long journey through this life.

Those who are interested in the $8.50 resistor...I mean ignition enhancement chip may also be interested in the Magnetic Mufflerizer. Simply place this magnetic muffler enhancer on the muffler and it will enhance the sound by 150%! Those who have purchased this product have said that their exhaust system was much louder and much deeper! Don't waste money on a new exhaust when you could waste money on the Magnetic Mufflerizer! And for a limited time, it's only $799.99!

This thread kicks *** x eleventy billion

Hey Jeffy, ever seen a +800rwhp Supra beat a modded 1 liter bike over and over again ?

Why waste money on a $8.5 res...I mean chip when you can gain 500hp by just putting funky stickers on your car.
Oh, and don't forget a 50 foot wing, that way you can be part of The Fast and The Furious 4.

I don't mean to seem demeaning...even if I make a joke or two. The last thing I want to do is try to make someone feel silly, but if you are well versed in electronics and know how much resistance it will add, why don't you go here and save some money?

I think you missed an important point, AliceCooperWa: The Radioshack resis... er, chip doesn't come with the cool decals to put on the windows. As any true motorhead can tell you, a good 50 to 70% of the horsepower increase comes from the decals...
and, btw, I picked up two(!) of those muffler inhancers at a garage sale for only $599 each! Score!

I just have to say that my friend bought one for his yaris. I told him it was too good to be true but he did not listen.

2 months later, his spark plugs are gone, his air panel in the filter is dead, car sounds like a tractor!

Go for it though, could be good! :impatient

Hey, I can sell you some spark plugs for your Toyota Yaris D-4D!
They should fit in a Mini D, too since it uses the same engine!

Hey spark plugs are spark plugs, if you screw them in hard enough you'll create new threads and it will fit perfectly! ...as long as the gap is between 1 and 3 inches. I can throw some of these in with the Mufflerizer! Plugs are only $18.99 each plus a $10 de-stocking fee for every individual part that must be taken out of the stock.

Are they the ones with the fins for the air-cooled diesel? I can sell you the special sparkplug socket that fits them. For only $599. (and thanks, JCWGrover, I love 'em. Can you get me any of the lightweight 'tweeter' versions?)

Actually, I thought that some of the other threads that he has posted were well thought out plans for a means of gaining more horsepower by modifying the way that his engine works. The guy is obviously looking at outside of the box ideas on doing something instead of just buying bolt-ons and he get's knocked. Keep using that brain Jeffy, your own R and D work will get you somewhere even if you don't always gain. It's all in the doing, measuring, and analyzing.

Laughing at, you could have learned something, but who knows...you could already know everything.

Chad
