I'm trying to find out whether a strut tower brace is available for an '07 Mini Cabrio which I bought back in July. I'm 59 yrs old, really don't drive hard at all, (it's got the auto trans, so I couldn't even if I wanted to!!) but I've heard that after a few years the towers begin to deteriorate a bit, affecting the ride. I keep cars around 5 or 6 years, put only 6 or 7 thou on 'em per year, so that may help with any opinions out there. Thanks in advance!!

You may want to check with M-7 (vendor listing). I have their STB but not sure if Cabrio may be different.

 

We are working on both a strut tower brace and strut tower reinforcement plates as we speak. We will make a vendor announcement as soon as they are ready to deliver . If you do not think a strut tower brace is necessary for your driving needs then just the plates may work better for you.They will be similar to these.
