Hey Richard,
Me and the missus were planning on being there right up untill today. However, we just signed a lease on a new place and will be moving this weekend. I was really looking forward to going, too.
I hope you guys will have fun and have a terrific turn out. Make sure there are plenty of pics of the event. Hope to make the next one.
Jerry and Teresa.

Peter, that's great to hear!
By the way, besides the prizes that Cleveland has put together, we got some extra goodies from NorthAmericanMotoring.com, and the kids who get chosen as the judges will get goodies from Motorswag.com
Given the time, I may load up my own MINI for the "Cool" category.
Looking forward to a great morning of fun!!!
Richard

Follow Up Notes
I visited the school today. If you don't meet up with us at the staging point, you will be able to enter the school, as long as it's before 10AM. Entrance is off Hackett. There is a fire station on one end, and the main school entry is down the street. Just past the main entrance and school signage, is a tiny, almost MINI sized driveway that will be chained off.
Please do your best to arrive at our meeting point by 9AM or at the school no later than 9:45AM.
Remember it's a 70's theme!!! Anyone got any good Disco Tunes we can blast??? Who's got the loudest MINI here????
Even if you don't have any 70's threads, you COULD dress up your MINI, or atleast find some music! =)
We'll have a very large playground to set up. If anyone wants to bring their EZUP's for shade protection, please do. There really won't be anything provided, so bring your folding chairs, etc..
Ok, more updates later!

Its a good question! I'm still wondering who's coming as well!
As far as I know, it's a spread---from down south, to far west.
Hope someone replies to you!

Today's Grover Cleveland MINI/Mini fun day was a success! We had 15 MINI's in attendance from c3, MOALA, NAM forum members, and Long Beach's orange MC cabriolet. Prizes were awarded in 6 categories that were voted on by the K-5 children! Two additional entrants were drawn for additional prizes, while 6 of the children judges were randomly selected to receive t-shirts donated by MiniSwag.com.
A big thanks to Mark Ferguson (https://www.northamericanmotoring.com) and Jeff De La Rosa (http://miniswag.com) for donating the prizes to our event, to Long Beach MINI (http://longbeachmini.com) for sponsoring the event and donating the Mandarin Duck baggage, MINI Robots and MINI T-shirts and posters, and to Nanci of the Cleveland PTA for bringing this event to us!
Also a big thank you to James P. and Matthew Hong of c3 for helping me put the event together as it wouldn't have been the same without you guys. Finally, Rick Anderson---you were awesome!! Thanks so much for connecting me with MOALA and your assistance in getting the Classics out there!
Here are the results (Still waiting for verification)!
Voted Best New MINI- Jasmin and George
Best Classic Mini- Bob (Black Classic)
Fastest Looking- m7 (Randy and Peter)
Grooviest- OctaneGuy (Richard)
Most British- Rick Anderson
Most Radical- still trying to confirm!
2nd chance drawing:
Keith
Malacai
(After the 6 winners were selected by the kids, we decided to randomly select 2 more winners from those that weren't voted for and called it the 2nd chance drawing)

Hmm, well I got flamed for making that mistake, could that have been me? LOL
This is Hyperblue! Belongs to a gal named Jeanine. HB and IB look very similar, but that picture I got flamed for was really bright and looked like EB to me!
