Cheap Mini Project

Hello,

I have years wanting a classic. Where can I get one for about $5000?

The idea is to restore it and customize it with a V-tec engine etc. I know there's a couple of vendors who sells them,
but their expensive and don't know if I should trust them or not.

Any thoughts?

Searching Google I founded http://www.westpaminis.com . They can get runing Minis from $5500.

This is in the FAQ part:

I am looking for a project mini in the range of $1000-$4000 dollars?

Sorry but as we bring over minis from the UK, they must be in sound condition and run and drive to
be transported on the boat and on our haulers. Sometimes we know of a project car available and can
help you but for the most part we supply cars that range from good drivers to show cars in the $5500
to $15,000 dollar price range.

Any experience with this vendor?

How classic are you looking for? I have a 1967 MINI Cooper S that is looking for a new home? This is a project car for sure.
