We motored down to the San Diego British Car Club Show on Sunday.

There was a whole section devoted to Mini's with a couple of MINI's invading...

Erm, no, well, kinda, erm, maybe, sort-of

I was actually surprised that people showed MINI's, then I was surprised that I was surprised, then, well, I guess that given all the surprises I did what any normal Englishman would do, and hunted down a cup of tea



well it was close

It certainly was an interesting mix of things - I had actually forgotten how many cars used to be made in the UK. There where also a couple of things missing - no Rover Sterlings (not sure who would be stupid enough to buy one), and I was sure that there would be a UK style Ford Capri - I saw one on the i5 heading south on Saturday and was convinced it was en-route.
