I've got a later Mk4+ model Mini with the squared off lights. Actually, I have the clear lenses that are available from GBparts. I would like a set of the original squared colored lenses, and I would prefer not to spend $100 each for them. Does anybody have a set laying around, perhaps after a retro-fit to the older round lenses, or just a spare set... or want to trade for a clear set? Here is what the clear lenses look like on my car:

to change to early type Mk1 lamps requires body panels to be welded in...
It was fashionable in the '70s to update the Minis to the later tail lamps by cutting a rectangular hole to fit the later assembly. Now the cars are more desirable with the MKI tail lamps that they came with. This is the sheet metal panel that is welded to the MK1 body to fill the hole so the MKI tail lamp assembly can be bolted to the body. See 13H233/ADAPTER for the other side.

 

I got mine (clear thus leaving the old colored ones) from DJs. So I know he has both new and used colored lenses.
