3 point Harness rear mounting points

Any one have experience or suggestions for the most solid mounting point in the rear seat area of a 67 Cooper S for the upper(third) belt in a 3 piece rally type harness? Options I am considering are the bolts that anchor the roll bar, or the crossmember supporting the rear deck under the rear window. Less drilling is good, strength and security is better. Help?!

I haven't fooled with this in decades, but don't you primarily have to consider the angle of the belt to the attachment point? Strength and security can come by using a sufficiently large and thick backing plate to whatever sheet metal you select for the attachement bolt point...I suggest contacting the Mini road racers on www.Minimania.com for advice.
