Chili Red Side by Side MINI-Mini

Recently I saw a front view pic of 2 Chili Red Classic and new Ss. I want to use that on my screen as my desktop background. Can anyone point me to that or tell me what the pic was called? Long searches havn't helped me find it.

I would appreciate anyones help.

Thank You.

You know it's kind of funny, most folks think that the MINI is a real small car. To me it seems about the same size as a Honda Civic hatch. Not too small in my eyes. But, when you park one next to a classic Mini it looks gargantuan. I think I'll have to keep a copy of that picture in my car to show those people who think my MINI is too small.

The new MINI is a Lincoln Town Car compared to the Original Mini. Twice as heavy, two feet longer, a foot wider, and 8 inches taller if I remember correctly. It only looks like a monster truck when you park it next to the old one.

From that view, the MINI really does look ginormous!!!

Those CR/Ws are gorgeous!! The best thing about taking MINI virgins for a ride is the moment they sit down and say, "It's so BIG in here!"

Awwwwww....those pics are sweet!!!

I had a friend w/ a classic Mini who was planning to stop by the MINI dealer one Saturday. I told him exactly what would happen if he showed up in his Mini. Yup, sure enough...every MA and potential buyer in the house cleared out of the showroom to ogle his car for a few minutes. I'm so glad MINIs have remained somewhat connected to their heritage.

New/Old Owners as Well.

Interesting pairs of Mini's & MINI's.

We have 3, two classic and one new. Here are our daily drivers. Mine is the classic, Tartan Red 1990/1971, hers the Chili Red 2002. On both cars the Union Flags on the roofs are painted, as are the mirror caps on her car. Hers won the Peoples Choice award for new MINI's in 2002 at the Mini Meet West in California. The other classic is a Morris 850, February 1960 build date.

As true as that is I had my MINI parked next to by the MINI-looking Scion and wow that is much larger than I had thought it was.

Just another funny size story I thought I'd share.

I do feel like I am driving a big car in my MINI after driving the Mini for any length of time.

you CAN make a Mini LOOK as big as a Mini however.....

These were from almost 3 years ago. I only had the car for about 4 weeks at this point. It was during set up for a british car show, there ended up being about 20 classic Mini's there, and maybe a dozen MINIs.

nope, not the gray haired dude at all...I am MUCH younger than that, but I am bald...by choice that is

Seems like the classic Minis here in Colorado are driven by a much older group...at least that is what showed up for the car show...british car show. The younger folks seem to drive the newer MINIs. Although, I would kill to have that classic along side my MINI....same color, similar interior ....one day I will have a matching set.
