Mini long gone

Here's my old friend, sold last year. I simply had to have another dream car from my youth ('85 Merkur XR4Ti), and I'm getting back into Minis (this time an MCS ). I'll poke around and try to find some pics of my old Riley Elf, but this will have to do for now. It was a '91 John Cooper with the last year of the carburettor. A wonderful car, now with a happy owner not too far from here.

Wonderful 1275 with a few tweaks - notice energy drink coil cover

Yes, I miss him...and the JCW gas cap picked up in person on 9/12/01

Says it all really. Roll on the MCS!

vintage Mini, new MINI

Glad there are more of us that have both.

I have a '64 Austin Mini saloon (reshelled, somewhat cooperized) along with my '03 MINI Cooper S..

MiniMad - does your traveller have a brit type license plate on the front that says "MINIVAN" If so, I saw it downtown in Chattanooga last week, if not, it has a twin (complete with djmini sticker in the back)

Here's my '79 RHD brought over a couple of years ago from England. Have not yet had the opportunity to tear it down and fix it up.... some day - I hope! The '02 BRG MC has been replaced this year with an '05 MCSa - gave up trying to teach my better half how to drive a stick! Wasn't worth the whiplash anymore

I've had this one two weeks, '62 Cooper racer, the prior owner was 5'6", I'm
6'2" so the rollcage, seat brackets, steering column, & pedal box ALL need to
be moved or torn out and fabricated to suit me, Planning on SCCA race
school at Roebling road in Feb. then hopefully going out to play with the nice
people in SVRA and HSR. Manuel

Just thought I would through this out. Since I've gotten in to restoring a classic I have added a lot of classic stuff to by business.

I can not only do graphics for the classic but I now offer fiberglass and Carbon Fiber replacement parts for the classic.

Like CF flip fronts. This is a glass flip front with CF ofer it to see how it woud fit. I'm having this made with CF accent pieces for looks.

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum, thought I'd post a pic of my 1970 Mk2 Cooper S. I really like the Mk3 Cooper S of Monalisa. I'll bet that our cars are within 500 of each other on the assembly line!

I have a 2005 Chili Red/White MCS JCW with bonnet stripes. I would like to match it with a classic Mini in as close to the same style as my JCW. Where would I start to look for one?

You can have a mini painted any color you want. You can find the history of john cooper here
http://www.johncooper.co.uk

Not sure if there is any official John Cooper Parts for the classic but that is a good place to start.
