Motor Swaps

While my 1.3i runs great right now I cant but contemplate more horsepower and easier availability of parts. What would be a source i could go to research ideas? Could a Gen1 powerplant and transmission be used? Im assuming the motor could be run using a stand alone ecu.

I'd contact the tech folks at 7ent.com. Along with all the parts they have, they sell and rebuild engines and should be able to help with questions you may have.

I have a friend with a Vauxhall 2.0 complete and ready to bolt in, comes with subframe, ECU, instruments, exhaust, upgraded brakes - the works - cheap too at $1500. Engine is freshly rebuilt and runs dual sidedraft webers.

Send me a PM if you're interested.
