My recently aquired 79 is wearing 10x6 alloys that I'm told are MiniLites.

They look like MiniLites but I don't find any markings that say MiniLite. The centre caps were replaced with UK flags so I don't have that.

I see one ad for MiniLites where it looks like "MiniLite" is cast in, but others seem to show numbers... I only have numbers. This makes me wonder.. Any place else I should look for a small name or logo?

My spokes are black and the only 10X6 I find in that color are genuine MiniLites. (black is on the MiniLiteWheels.com page)

Main reason I'm wondering is I have unmatched lug nuts and want to buy the right ones to swap out. Need to be sure I know what wheels I have.

Post some pictures of your wheels and lug nuts. There have been many copies of the original Mini lite wheels for the Mini over the years. I don't know if color is a determining factor as my 5X10 GB's were silver, then black and now are polished.

I can't help you out with this one. I never had black wheels on a classic.
