Hey guys

I need decent speakers in my mini. I have rover pockets that someone hogged out and fitted with the tiniest coax speaker. I would love a set of 4 or 5" component speakers there. I know there are some q-logic or whatever forms that can go on the door panels. Anyone care to share their system?

I don't want the front facing speakers that attach to / under the dash, I am feeling crowded already.

 

I built a speaker panel with the radio under the back seat. I put two 6x9s and they work great. If you want pics I can post them later. They are out of the way and easy to do.

 

Thanks, need something up front, it sounds like I am facing away from the stage!

 

I wonder if you could convert the front round air vents into speaker holders... I just thought of it so I'm not sure if someone else has done it on here or not.

It wouldn't be on the door but it would enable you to make a modification to the car without modifying it per sae, i.e. you could return it back to stock if you decide.

There are plenty of powerful small speakers nowadays as well so I don't think you would have to worry about volume.

 

Would you have room for a pod. This one is 6.5".
