I got the mini with all it's new suspension and brakes on the road today. I drove it to town and got it aligned. Boy am I ever happy with the way it handles and feels. Tomorrow hopefully I'll start on the body work. Thursday my new seats and roll bar will be here. I'm having fun.

Wow its coming along great. All of the improvements have been done so fast. I thought I was being pushy having my husband improve our Mini the last 3 months, lol. I guess Im going to have to crack the whip

My roll bar hasn't been painted yet. Painter has had the flu. But I did get my new seats installed.

I got the roll bar in last night. Boy what a pain. Had to take the seats back out, but it's in now and looks good.

I'm taking it to town this morning to get a new exhaust pipe installed then I'll drop it off at the body shop on the way home.

My block is out being line bored, the new 5 speed is at the shop, and my new head and fuel injection is being shipped from England today. So hopefully all engine parts will be going together by the end of the week.

My head and injection from MED arrived at Mini 7 today. Here's a picture of it.
They will put it all together next week but won't be able to run in the engine until about March 9th. Still waiting for the limited slip.

The car is in the body shop. Unfortunately there was so much rust in the nose and left fended we decided to replace them. So that held the car up a while waiting for the new parts. The new parts went on today. Monday they will finish the sanding and body work, prime it, and Tuesday get painted. Wed I get it back.

The car will be home shortly. They were putting the windshield in as I took these photos.
Next I need to put on the two new bumpers, then the two white strips on the hood, and last the Union Jack British Flag on the roof.

We pulled the old engine and all the old wiring today. Next I'll detail the engine compartment then start on the new wiring.

It was a left hand drive, fairly rust free, calif.car. I paid $5000 and drove it home.
