Classic Van owner checking in.

Hi guys. I have a 1970 Classic Van that I bought last year. It has gone through many changes since then. Almost a total teardown. The only way to go farther is to put it on a rottissory (sp?) It had a 1275 motor and it's getting a 1380 in a couple of weeks. I've changed from the front doughnuts to (exterior) coilover suspension. I'll be painting it Canary Yellow myself in a month or so.

Nice! Welcome to the circus. Are you keeping the right hand drive?

Absolutely! The right hand drive is really a plus as far as the "feel" of it being a little English delivery vehicle. I've had quite a few people tell me that the "blind spot" is horrible. I drove it around for a couple of weeks before I pulled the engine. I used to drive a delivery truck (box van) for a living, and this was not too much worse. (just the funny feeling of shifting left handed) Plus I plan on putting in a good stereo system with a 7 inch screen that will use a wide angle backup camera.
