Happy Birthday to JoeGreen!!! Today is the first day of his 7th year and we're looking forward to many more.

The speedo says 134,759. He has had a couple of big service issues - bearing hub, gaskets and tiny motors - and a number of minor fixes. I'm sorry that I didn't keep a detailed list since his delivery 1-31-2003 but expenses haven't been too bad. There are no mods under the bonnet but he does have two sets of wheels: the original with Blizzaks and the nice Kazeras about to get new tread next month.

Photos of him are in My Gallery. There he shows off his exterior bling that is modest by comparison to most - a chrome thing here, a grillle badge there, and a couple of MINI Motoring Hearts. He has enjoyed windy routes from coast to coast, mountain to desert, and some of those are displayed on my Flickr page.

I love my MINI JoeGreen and consider his purchase one of the best decisions I've made in my life --- so much fun, so many interesting MINI friends, such a classy ride!

Thanks for the pat on back. I just realized I put this note in the wrong thread as I don't have a classic MINI. Mine was born in 2003. Sorry.

Also, I give great credit to a superb garage/mechanic at Eurosport in Springfield for great advice and fantastic technical work.
