Hi Tnny!! Oh and hi to all of you!! I just don't think to stop by anymore and I am sorry to say that. Tnny, I just read your post about your SI joint and IT band and the pain into food/foot . I suggest to stop trying to eat with your fott and your SI joint wil improve like overnight! hahahahaha, sorry, I couldn't resist!

Anyways, ironically I have been plagued by that same syndrome and it usually comes form some degeneration of the lumber vertebrae's and discs.. has the PT helped any?
Instead of 2 hour sessions with the MT I would opt for 90 mintues tops but have them more frequently. And,,,, I have found HUGE releif from using a foam roller and with this you can stretch the hip flexors ( I am sure yours are tight) and hip adductors and that darned IT band. It's very cool and it gets into all of the areas and you control the pressure...
So, there you have it!
Does anyone have spring fever? It's been a tough spring here but today was nice and yesterday wasn't all that bad either so my spring fever is starting to appear! It makes me want to dig in the dirt and plant something!
Sloopy is fine, she was in the shop over the weekend to get a new GPS installed. Mine went on strike and darned if tht wasn't included on my 3 year/36,000 miles warranty! So I have a brand spankin new GPS with the updated maps and traffic watch.. a-w-e-s-o-m-e!!
I will try to stop in more often and I keep my eye on you all on Fb. But it really isn't the same on there.

Thanks for the heads (or foots) up, Cabby. The PT WAS a big relief- She's got the fingers we call torpedo points and she gets into my flexors, abductors and also digs around my L5/S1 and my SI joint. I've been doing Pilates and that's helped a bit... Gotta get back into it. Stopped in mid March, when I went to Maine for a week or so, and then haven't had a chance to get back to the classroom. Something to do with storms or being on a horse.
I've actually got a foam roller, and some small ***** that work the same way. My one MT only goes for 90 minutes- the other, who can really get in there and work me out, often putting me on my side to work my hip flexors & IT band, we go for 2 hours. It's the only way she can actually get to all my ouchies. I'm currently alternating between the two, once a week.

The barista girl has still got it this morning. Very proud of my long shot Americano that actually tastes pretty awesome, considering this is like the third time, in my history of being an unofficial barista, that I've had to make one.
It's pretty flavorful and I am very happy with it.
