Swapping from LHD to RHD

Probably going to pick up a Mini that is currently LHD --- I want to swap it to RHD.

Anyone out there want my LHD stuff?

And does anyone have RHD stuff available?

not all racks are the same. not all steering arms are the same. you must match parts. check your parts books. Norm, make sure what you get works with Cooper brake setup.

Drive a RHD in traffic, first. There are some disadvantages. Vision & passing for two.

That's what I have (RHD), but it's not worth the trouble to switch over (either way) as far as I'm concerned. I really think LHD is necessary for safety in a Mini Van though.

I didn't even think it was a financially feaseable venture to switch them about.

I love my RHD, yes the vision is a issue when you are turning left. I just like being different I guess. Not to many RHDs on the road.

Ditto... LOVE my RHD car. It's different. No issues whatsoever with sittng on that side and it took me less than a day to adjust. My only issue... drive-up bank ATMs.

I used to have a RHD back in the day.. I was a kid and we used to go through the drive through backwards.. will never forget getting pulled over and the cop going to the wrong window I have driven a buddies RHD van.. that was very scary on the highway trying to get into the fast lane.
