Broke my reverse light plastic cover, dealer said the part its one whole housing. Dealer quoted me $160.00 just for labor? Can this be done at home or at a less costly repair shop? I'm new to Mini. Thanks Anthony.

the reverse lights just pop out so they can be changed in minutes do it yourself we sell the lights on our site

Thank you this was helpful because the light price itself wasn't much of the problem as the installation price costing more than 3 times as much as the unit they were selling. If it's doable at home do you have to remove anything challenging like the bumper or is it reachable from the trunk?

 

I would also like to throw in that it's also a base model hatchback for 2012 not a sport model
