Tire Separating from Sidewall
Tire Separating from Sidewall
Front p/s tire went flat a few weeks ago and ended up having to be replaced. I was shown the replaced tire by my mechanic and he showed me the interior of the tire, where it looks like the sidewall had significantly started separating from the tread, right on the shoulder where they are supposed to be attached, especially if you leaned on the tire, you could see the fibers of the belt. I bought the tires from the Rack and have started the claim process, but for now, im running on mismatched tires, the new one is a hankook ventus v12, whenever I do drive the car (very rarely and only on short trips now), I hear ALOT OF road noise from the tire. Should I replace? Any recommendations?
btw, the original tires I bought were the supposedly almighty Bridgestone Potenza GRD019's, there's only the three remaining on the car, I suspect that its because of the mismatched set and alignment, but im more concerned about the quality of the remaining three tires...
