Friday Night Lights is a monthly Car event. Started in 2007, it's been expanded to various clubs and forums and now an exclusive event for the e-zine/blog/forum JDMChicago.com. Everyone is welcome to FNL and all kinds of cars are encouraged to attend.

FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS: Friday Aug 20

Meet, food, parking lot pimp, cruise, photoshoot, etc.

Other Details:
*Management at D&B has instructed us to park at the far west end of the lot (closer to the D&B entrance).
*No loitering at front entrance!
*Invite whoever, this is a multi-forum meet!
*Setup small cruises yourself! The numbers for FNL are too large for a safe mass cruise!
*Parking lot douchebaggery (burnouts/driffts/etc) will not be tolerated!
*Pick up your trash


*This is a RAIN or SHINE event.

Sorry All, FNL is postponed until further notice. There will be no FNL @ Dave & Busters on Aug 20th. Management called me on my cell today and informed me. Disappointing for sure, but at least they give us over a week notice to get the word out.

Honestly, unless I'm reading wrong here, they are being jerks about it.

If I owned a large business and a bunch of people wanted to come and hang out (and give me their $$$ and possible repeat business), I would jump on it in a heartbeat.

Instead, you get a bunch of rules, a place that you are supposed to park and then they cancel on you.

I bet there's plenty of places in Chi Town that would willingly accept the large amount of revenue this will bring to their business. Shop around and drop D&B is my opinion.

 

If you are looking for someplace new might I suggest Paul's Pizza in Westchester?

Large strip mall parking lot, good food at Paul's and ohh yeah Paul happens to be the mayor of Westchester and has been very car friendly in the past with weekly cruise nights...

 

Actually he's not the mayor anymore, but I know he used to have car shows on Mondays as I was usually there working security for a while. I had the STi with the police lights. Heheheee! : )
