CRAP! a tiny little rust spot has developed in the drivers side rear quarter panel where the plastic bumper meets the fender! It's still small, my car has 40k miles and is still under warranty...06 MCS' have a 12 year unlimited mileage warranty for rust, but does it mean little rust spots on an exposed little area of the car or rust through? Someone help!

 

12 year unlimited? My 2003 warranty booklet says 6 years, and I have rust developing under the drivers side tail light! $400 to fix.

 

My 05 manual says the same as what the OP's says, 12 year/unlimited
