Just posting that I've had good luck with Patrick Martin. He's an ex-BMW dealership mechanic. He's worked on all of our Mini's, including doing the timing chain on my '09 S. He knows what he's doing, he's honest, and he's even helped me when I was doing some work myself. His number is 774-269-0950.

He hasn't done a clutch for me, but he's done then for other MINI customers and other makes. He's pretty busy, but he's added another mechanic. I'm sure he'll be able to turn you around quickly.

 

Another update - he is in the process of adding a third mechanic and more lifts. I stopped by to chat today and he had five MINIs in for work.

 

Another, and probably final, update. I retired a while back, and for fun, I worked for Pat at Roundel for several months as a service writer and doing odd jobs. I had a great time! Pat is a real professional. James and Brian are top-notch tech's - they work on a ton of MINI's and taught me alot (I appreciate their patience). Gail works the front desk and truly knows the business and she knows every car-person on the Cape. I continue to recommend Roundel to my friends. I stopped working there a couple months ago because I'm getting ready to relocate away from the Cape (will miss this place!).
