Here in Toronto for first time...
Hi everyone,
I'm here in Toronto for my first time. Been here since last Wed, and have seen quite a few MINI's. For some reason, I've seen mostly MC's rather than MCS's. I came here for a wedding that took place yesterday, so I'm here for a few more days before going back to LA. Just wanted so share some observations.
I've visited a lot of cities in the USA, and Toronto seems most like Los Angeles with a bit of New York and San Francisco mixed together--atleast in the downtown areas, and the rural areas remind me a bit of Tennessee. Feels very different from Vancouver--atleast the last time I was there was 10 years ago. Also, everywhere seems under construction! I've spent a bunch of time the last few days in the Bloor St area of downtown. Really wish I had my MINI!!!
I even waved to a really dirty black MCS, but of course I was in a rented blue Dodge Caravan, so I'm sure the female driver thought I was just a crazy MINI wannabe.
Anyhow, nice to see MINI's here. Looking forward to going back home in a few days. Starting to suffer MINI Withdrawal. Atleast I got my MINI Brochure here, my Malibu DVD video, and various other MINI stuff. LOL, even bought a matchbox sized MINI from the local Walmart here. Not like I REALLY need another MINI diecast.
