i guess thats about the closest thing ur gonna get to liquid yellow...they need to make it for all the minis not just the vert

 

It is closer to liquid yellow than mellow yellow was. However, there is a slight green tint to it.

 

Is that some kind of aero kit on the clubman? Never seen that before.

 

Mellow Yellow is about as close to OSHA Safety Orange as you can get.

 

that is the factory aero kit for the cooper clubman.

oops my mistake. I wonder if there's a picture of all three side by side (Mellow, Liquid and Interchange Yellow). Would be interesting to see the differences.

 

IC Yellow is very cool, IMO. A lot like LY but a bit more vibrant.

 

Just ordered mine this past thursday (ask-mini says it's scheduled for production).

Those pics don't do IY any justice. I went to the dealer yesterday to pick up my car and saw it.

That color is HOT!!!

I took some while I was at the dealership and the color is unbelieveable.

Is the IY only available in a convertible?

Made me want to trade my car in.

I'll have to wait and see what it looks like in person. We just put a variation of th eHonda pearl yellow on the kids 97 MCS. I like this better.

Can't fool a fellow body shop guy huh? That's Indy Solar Yellow off the S2000's. We played with a couple of the pearls, but that's what it is. Good catch!

I'd really like to see the Interchange Yellow, but the local dealer doesn't have any headed his way yet.

Interchange Yellow looked pretty awesome on the 2009 JCW cabrio we explored (head to toe) this morning at our raid............er, I mean, visit..........up at the local MINI dealership!!! One can compare side-by-side all day long, but in the end each yellow looks great on its own (which is how MINIs generally motor about)!!! A prefectly fitting color on a MINI!!!

 

the new IY doesn't do it for me... To much green in it. There was a brand new one cruising around AMVIV.

I have a LY R53 and hate the mellow. This IY looks fantastic!! I hope they make it available for the HT.

 

Even though our MCS is MY, it sure wasn't my favorite shade. That's one reason we did the color change. I'm very interested in seeing the IY. Not that I'm a drop top kinds guy though.
